Jewellery care tips
Jewelry lives with you; it accompanies you everywhere and will naturally bear the marks of its own life.
Jewelry is precious, delicate, and fragile all at once, so the first piece of advice is to adopt good habits:
1/ Do not store several pieces of jewelry together in the same case, as they will damage each other.
2/ Avoid contact with water: showers, pools, the beach, etc.
3/ If possible, remove your jewelry at night and during physical activity.
Doamabijoux jewelry is made either of 925/1000 solid sterling silver, which is non-rhodium plated to maintain its natural and authentic patina, gold-plated (yellow or rose) with 3 microns of 18-karat gold over a bronze base, or solid bronze.
They are delivered in a protective case, accompanied by a soft, cleaning chamois cloth.
Solid silver jewelry oxidizes easily upon contact with air, water, perspiration, perfumes, creams, and chemical products.
To clean them, use the chamois cloth provided with your purchase and store them in their Doamabijoux case at night.
You can also clean your jewelry in warm water with dish soap. Once washed, dry them and polish them with the chamois cloth. You may also mix baking soda with lukewarm water and rub with a VERY soft toothbrush, but be careful, as it may scratch your jewelry.
Never immerse your jewelry in boiling water, especially if it is set with a gemstone, as it could crack due to thermal shock.
