“ SCALA ” means staircase , ladder in Italian.

The SCALA collection symbolizes the ascent towards knowledge, the progression towards wisdom, the surpassing of oneself, degree by degree.

Thanks to its symbolic and geometric character, the staircase has inspired many artists, such as Pieter Bruegel the Elder in 1563 and Maurits Cornelis Escher in 1951.
